1/10 Scale Set Building and Props 

The sets are built to 1/10 scale. The world I created captures the surreal and grotesque story told from the design, through to the realisation and making. The handmade quality was achieved by the choice of material, balsa wood, which was easily carved and manipulated by hand. Small details such weeds and gloss varnish 'puddles' create a sense of life and realism.

I used laser cutting for finer interior details to create clean lines and precise mechanical shapes that stand out from the moulded 'claymation' style characters.
